A Little Prayer

A loving father (David Strathairn) grapples with how to protect his daughter-in-law (Jane Levy) when he discovers that his son is having an affair. A heart-tugging drama about finding kindred spirits in unexpected places, A Little Prayer is a sensitive and searching portrait of a Southern family from writer-director Angus MacLachlan.

McLachlan was the screenwriter of the excellent 2005 NC-based movie Junebug, and this movie was filmed at least partially in Winston-Salem. The reviews are great. I tried to post this at a different theater a while ago but it disappeared too soon.

Showtime is 5:00, so let's gather at 4:45 to get our tickets and visit. Afterwards, we can head across the street to Taipei 101 for dinner and discussion.
