Panoramic views of the iconic Guinness lake (lough Tay) and winding our way through lush pine forests. Local wildlife like foxes and deer along the trail. A popular trail so will likely be many other walkers about

Mostly boggy and waterlogged, but wooden boardwalk for most of the route.
Weather
can be exposed at top with strong wind and could be rain.
Hiking boots essential.
