🍂 Slow Strolls in Nature: Morning Fall Walk at Elm Creek Park 🍁
📅 Date: Sunday, November 16th
🕙 Time: 10:00 AM – approx. 11:30 AM
📍 Location: Elm Creek Park Reserve
👟 Pace: Gentle and relaxed – this is not a speed walking or fitness group.
Let’s take a breath, slow things down, and soak in the quiet beauty of fall together.
Join us for a peaceful Sunday morning walk through the vibrant trails of Elm Creek Park, where the golden hues of autumn leaves, the crisp air, and the soft crunch of the path beneath our feet invite us to be fully present.
This is not a speed walking or power hiking event. Instead, it’s a time to connect with nature, notice the small details we often rush past, and enjoy the restorative rhythm of a slow walk. Whether you're looking to decompress, find some weekend calm, or simply enjoy good company among trees and trails, you're welcome here.
We'll walk at a comfortable, conversational pace, stopping occasionally to admire scenic views, listen to the sounds of the forest, or just be still for a moment.
What to Bring:
Comfortable walking shoes
A warm layer or jacket (fall mornings can be brisk!)
Water bottle
Optional: binoculars, nature journal, camera
Who is this for?
Anyone who enjoys nature, mindfulness, and unhurried movement. All ages and experience levels welcome. Whether you come solo or with a friend, you’ll be met with a kind and easygoing group.
Where to Meet: i have never been to this park. So i will check it out ahead of time and update you all in the discussion.
Important Notes:
This is a weather-permitting event. If there’s heavy rain, snow or unsafe conditions, I’ll post an update the day before.
