TAM Edo Bayashi Ensemble will be performing OTOBUKIJISHI and MODOKI.

Shishimai (Kotobukijishi) is a traditional Japanese lion dance performed at festivals and celebrations. It brings good luck, chases away evil spirits, and blesses the community.

Modoki (Comic Interlude) is a playful hand dance performed during Satokagura (traditional Shinto folk performance) while Shishi rests, adding humor and balance to the performance.
