• What is Mafia?

Mafia is a ten-player social game played at multiple tables. Each player gets a secret role and works with their team to win. Games last about 45 minutes, so we play several during each event.
The Mafia Team’s goal is to eliminate the Citizens, while the Citizens must figure out who the Mafia members are and eliminate them.
If you’re new, don’t worry! We always have plenty of first-time players, and we’ll explain everything. No prior knowledge or experience is needed.

• How Does the Game Work?

The game has two phases: Night and Day.

• Night Phase: The Mafia secretly eliminate an innocent Citizen. Two special roles come into play:
• The Don (Mafia) learns if a Citizen is the Sheriff.
• The Sheriff (Citizen) learns if a player is Mafia.
• Day Phase: Everyone discusses who they think the Mafia are and votes to eliminate one player.

The game continues until either the Mafia is eliminated or they outnumber (or equal) the Citizens. But don’t worry - you’ll pick it up quickly as you play!
