Beginner, Intermediate and Advance Players - ALL ARE WELCOME!
The club was founded in 1998 by Mark Levine, the group has grown leaps and bounds since we added this meetup site in 2007. Come and have fun with us!
We meet a couple of times a month. Locations vary but it is usually a restaurant with a time provided for a meal, for those who want to eat. We jam for about two hours or more depending on the venue.
Come and meet other local Ukulele players for our "themed" jam sessions! It's always a BLAST! Should you like to perform, we also have opportunities for our players to come and perform for children's, seniors, churches, temples and other appreciative groups!
Guests and spouses/partners are always WELCOME to all our meetups! Come one, come ALL but remember without "U" it's just "kulele" .

IMPORTANT! It's helpful if you sign up for open mic ahead of time! I know we have several groups who would like to perform: Dallas Ukulele Headquarters will determine the performance order to balance the performances. Plan on one song so we have plenty of time for people to play jam tunes, too. Better yet, send me your chart with inline chords, and the group can play along with you!While this is a FREE event, we do ask that you patronize the location by purchasing a meal or beverage of your choice. The venue charges us nothing to use their space.

Bring a copy of the jam music -- I will not have copies available. These days, a tablet or Ipad may be the best way to use your music.

It's after Thanksgiving and we survived it!
What now? Why, Christmas of course!
Join us the Saturday after Thanksgiving at the Theater at the Grapevine Library as we strum in Christmas with Christmas songs and cheer! Afterwards, we'll head over to Harvest Hall for a great lunch that's not turkey!
Bring your in-town family and friends to share in the fun! We'll have songbooks available to download or print, so they can sing along and get started on the Christmas spirit! Make a day of it! Come for the jam to practice, grab some lunch Harvest Hall or one of the other amazing eateries and wineries Grapevine has to offer.

We have a special lunch designed by the restaurant for us. I will have details shortly, but didn't want to wait to get the word out to you. (They can accommodate any dietary needs or restrictions: Just let us know ahead of time so the restaurant will know) PLEASE RSVP ON MEETUP SO WE CAN GIVE THE RESTAURANT AN ACCURATE HEAD COUNT!
We will have our "Annual White Elephant Exchange" also known as a Yankee Swap.
WHITE ELEPHANT
You are asked to bring a wrapped, unmarked gift for the Yankee Swap. Let's have fun with this... the gift CAN be something that you got (last year) and don't want ...or it could be something that EVERYONE will want...a bottle of wine...chocolates...lottery tickets...usually there is quite a bit of Ukulele paraphernalia - you get the idea.MUSIC
Mark will lead us in Christmas Music! Jam Music will be listed in the Files section of our Facebook page! We will post a link as we get closer to the event date. Be sure to have your music either printed or on a tablet --We will not have printed copies.
