Outdoors Saturday Meetup at Telopea Park with Songbook 2

We will be using Songbook 2. Copies will be available for purchase or borrowing at the event.

The event will be along the Northern side of Telopea Park in Barton near Gosse St. There is a carpark and public toilets nearby.

If the weather is bad the Organisers will move the meetup to St James Centre Main Hall at CURTIN. A message will be sent on Friday night to those who have RSVP'd and posted on this site so PLEASE check this site before you leave on Saturday.

Format:
We use the kanakapila format, where everyone takes a turn to choose a song from the Songbook with the whole group playing and singing along. You can choose to perform your chosen song or you can bring a new song with around 20 copies to share. You can also pass your turn.
When it is your turn, we encourage you to lead the song using the mic and sound equipment provided. We encourage everyone to have a go at this, because having the song led at the mic helps to keep the song moving along with the bass and percussion.
Payment:
Please don’t forget to pay $10 for attendance at URoC meetups (which covers venue hire and other costs). Thank you, if you have already paid in advance.
