This group is free. You have nothing to lose but unwanted pounds and unhappiness around the frustrations around being overweight or food. What seems impossible, can be worked through by understanding the dynamics of marketing, modern day food production, aimed at creating addiction, and understanding our biological drives to eat. This will be structured and ongoing. Science has proven the more you have failed at an endeavor the more you have learned and the better your odds are of accomplishing your goals. Science also has proven people have better odds of succeeding with group support. This group offers an approach to understanding and overcoming cravings using principles from "Defeat Your Cravings" by Glenn Livingston. Additionally, insights from "Hooked" by Michael Moss will be incorporated to examine how the food industry influences our behaviors and cravings. Through a combination of readings, discussions, exercises, and practical applications, participants will learn strategies to identify triggers, confront cravings, and develop resilience for sustainable weight loss and well-being.
