Journaling is a powerful tool to effect change in our patterns of thinking. Join us for the New Moon to find out how!
During the night of the new moon, we are encouraged to look within and practice introspection. It is often suggested to journal during this time as a form of self-inquiry, and it is the most powerful time to set intentions for the rest of the month.
Come ready to explore your thoughts, feelings, and dreams in a supportive and welcoming environment. Let's explore the power of intention together! No writing experience is required, as Samantha will gently guide the group through a series of journaling prompts designed to encourage self-love, gratitude, and inspiration.
Please bring your own journal and writing utensil, or paper will be provided.
This workshop is being offered on a sliding scale donation of $25-$35. Samantha is also a chef and will be providing a plant-based soup for dinner.
There will be a blessing basket at the event, or you contribute digitally through Venmo @somawellness or Zelle to info@somawithsam.com
Meet your Workshop Guide: Samantha is a chef, retreat organizer, yoga teacher and writer. She holds a BFA in Creative Writing from the University of North Carolina where she majored in Non-Fiction, and went on to work as a journalist both domestically and abroad.
Samantha started Soma Wellness Services in 2018 and began hosting retreats in 2021, where she would facilitate reflective journaling sessions. Over time this grew into the Journey through Journaling workshop, which is one of her favorite and most personal offerings
