Cape Falcon and Crescent Beach hikes with Canon Beach

Please join me on these two beach/coastal hikes. Both hikes have little elevation gain. The first hike will be to the western viewpoint at Cape Falcon in Oswald West State Park. We will also go to Blumenthal Falls which is by the northern part of Short Sand Beach. This hike will be about 2.5 to 3 miles long with part of it on the beach. Afterwards we will drive north a short ways to Cannon Beach. Parking at a city park a block from Chapman Beach, we'll do a short hike so to walk along the shoreline of Crescent Beach ending up at the Tillamook Rock lighthouse. Seeking what lies in tide pools will be part of the delight of both hikes. This hike is 2.2 miles long. Afterwards we can enjoy enjoy a meal together at any of the places in Cannon Beach and/or wander the shops and art galleries. You can choose to do both of either hike.
We will form carpools at the west part of Target's parking lot at Highway 26 and 185th in the Beaverton area. Nice restrooms at a number of places along the way o each hike and at Target before you begin. Bring a lunch and carpool money for gas. There should not be any parking fees where we park.
