Ride: Jordan River Parkway

This short out-and-back social ride features the paved bike path mid valley along the Jordan River Parkway. We’ll begin in Murray at Winchester Park and roll south to a café on 10600 South for morning coffee/brunch/lunch. The terrain is easy flat to rolling to include some road underpasses, a couple of tight corners, and a short section on public roads in traffic. (I’m using this short ride to check navigation points on the river.)

Please ensure your bike is correctly adjusted and safe to operate. Everyone needs to bring basic tire repair tools and wear a helmet. All bikes work on this ride. Bike locks recommended. Meet Elliott at Winchester Park, on 6400 South in Murray at approximately 1225 West on Winchester Street, at 11:00AM ready to ride.

Trailhead Information: In Murray, drive 6400 South west on Winchester Street to about 1225 West. Winchester Park is on the north side of the road on the west side of the Jordan River. We’ll rally in the parking lot.
