Digital Equity & Inclusion UX Methods

Details
Not everyone thrives in the digital revolution. Digital divides persist, often leaving already marginalized users out of UX research and design processes.
Gender-Based Analysis Plus (GBA+) is an analytical framework which identifies intersectional and systemic inequities in policy and program development. It can also be used as a UX method, to better understand the challenges and barriers that diverse and vulnerable users face.
This presentation will introduce the GBA+ framework and discuss practical ways to incorporate it into UX methods, to ensure that digital accessibility, equity and inclusion goals are built into designs from the ground up, rather than tagged on as an afterthought.
