This route starts with a canoe or kayak paddle through a low-laying slough. This tidal freshwater lake is the largest of its kind in the world. Lace your way through Widgeon Slough, leave the canoe on a sandy beach, and make the easy walk through the woods to powerful Widgeon Falls.

Meeting time and place: 7:30 AM at the parking lot

Level: Moderate (would involve boating and then hiking)
Round trip Duration: 4-5 hours
Pace: Easy (while we will endeavour to leave no one behind, pls ensure you're fit enough to keep pace)

IMPORTANT:
- If you need a ride, chat in the WhatsApp group, and someone might have a spot in their car.
- Stop for Coffee/ Brunch/Lunch based on agreement with participants

- Mandatory - Waterproof shoes or sandals with good grip as you might need to get down to push your boat if there is low tide. You need to book your canoe in advance, they don't accept bookings at the spot.
- You could be asked to go back if you don't have the required equipment.
