New Member Welcome Brunch with Book

Welcome to the Ventura & Oxnard Book Club! As the holidays approach, our goal is to bring people together over books. Read Welcome to the Hyunam~Dong Bookshop by Hwang Bo~reum, a feel good, love letter to readers, so a great story for our first gathering. Immigrant son at the collection has some delicious brunch dishes, not to mention great coffee and espresso martinis, and bridges the gap location~wise between Ventura and Oxnard. We are about adventure through stories, interesting discussions and discoveries, beautiful words over coffee and “pages as honey colored as halva” (from The Loneliness of Sonia and Sunny by Kiran Desai), trying new brunch spots, and making friends.
