Moon Meditation

30-minute Moon Meditations for grounding and creative inspiration will be held in our Discord server on most new and full moons throughout the year. Times will vary as they will coincide with the actual minute the moon is new or full, so there should be opportunities that work for everyone in every time zone over the course of the year!

If you're not yet in the VGVS Discord server, be sure to give yourself time to join, read the server rules in the welcome channel, and agree by reacting with the fire emoji so you'll have access to all the channels!

WHAT TO EXPECT: Meet in THE TAVERN voice channel. You may choose to have your camera on or off; mine will be on. These guided meditations are only 30 minutes, so I will jump right in, saving a few minutes for introductions at the END of the session. Please come in quietly, I recommend with lights low or dimmed, maybe a candle or two burning nearby. (When weather permits, especially when it’s nighttime, it might be nice to be outside!) We’ll focus on slowing our breathing, quieting our brains from all the world noise, and feeling grounded to the earth. I’ll perhaps share moon or other nature-related poetry and art, and I may often pull a tarot or oracle card and read the description to give us a vibe for the session and inspire creative ideas. Have a pen and paper or journal for jotting thoughts and feelings, starting a poem or song or drawing, and answering questions about what you will be adding to your life (new moon) or purging from your life (full moon) this cycle. I’m super excited to be doing these; I’ve needed to work on my own grounding and connecting to nature for a long while, and I think it will be lovely to connect with each other at the same time! ~Angie
