New Trail - Day-of-Caring - Mud Creek Preserve

We have permission to do some preliminary trail corridor work on a new trail across Mud Creek from Mertensia Park. When done this trail will create an one half mile trail from the Auburn Trail to the old Trolley Bed. We will be working with folks that are being given the morning off to help in the community. The trail as flagged is mostly wooded with transitional shrubs, trees, etc.

VHT will provide tools and PPE, however, feel free to bring your own loppers, hand saws, rakes, etc. There will also be some plants that will be flagged for transplant.
