We're getting local this month!

A member suggested
The Curve of Time by M. Wylie Blanchet
This is a period memoir of a woman who travelled the coastal waters of BC with her children in the 1920s and 1930s

The second book is the moody Sointula by Bill Gaston about a woman who trades privilege for a stolen kayak and a journey through grief and the west coast wilderness

And just in case these don't appeal and you want a little Satanic Panic with a local flair, a member suggested Michelle Remembers by Lawrence Pazder

(Remember to bring your own questions or observations to discuss with the members you sit with. Due to the nature of meeting at a pub, we may be at separate tables. Please consider supporting The Drake by buying a drink or a bite to eat!)
