This is a group for cyclists of all skill levels and types living in or near Vienna. We regularly plan different types of rides in and around Vienna. Whether the emphasis is on road cycling, mountain biking, gravel cycling, cycle touring, themed rides doesn't matter. At least one event every month year around.

Join us on a relaxed evening bike tour along the Donauinsel to enjoy the sunset in a beautiful setting! We start at the bike rental at Copa Beach in Kaisermühlen and ride leisurely towards the eastern end of the Donauinsel. The route takes you past the Kraftwerk Freundau and offers wonderful views of the Danube and the surrounding nature along the way.
We take a break either at the Kraftwerk Freudenau, the last bridge before the end of the Donauinsel or directly at the end of the Donauinsel to watch the sunset in peace and enjoy the atmosphere. This depends on which location most people prefer or where the sunset is best observed. Afterwards, take a relaxed alternative route back to the starting point.
🚴♂️ Important information:
- Pace: The tour is ridden at a slow, leisurely pace so that everyone can cycle along at a relaxed pace.
- Route: The entire route is 100% paved and therefore ideal for all types of bikes.
- Lights compulsory: Please bring a working front and rear light for your bike as we will be out and about after sunset.
- Distance: 25 km.
- Duration: The tour takes approx. 2 hours in total (including a break).
