The Speakeasy Comedy Club
Details
Friday night in Northbridge now comes with live comedy, a drink in hand and the whole weekend still ahead of you.
Presented by Grassroots Comedy, The Speakeasy Comedy Club is a weekly stand-up showcase on Level 2 at the Doubletree by Hilton on James Street. An MC hosts six hand-picked comedians, with local favourites, national acts and touring performers rotating through the lineup.
The show runs from 8pm to 930pm, making it an easy option after work, for date night, or as the first stop before heading further into Northbridge.
Arrive early, grab a drink and settle into the plush lounge and cabaret seating at Curate bar downstairs before the show starts. Show your tickets for a 10% off deal.
The room is intimate, relaxed and close to the action, so the audience and performers are properly in it together.
The lineup changes every week, so regulars can expect something different each Friday.
