Adventures on the Geneva Wine Trail, Strong Cabin Overnight

Update January 28. We are still a go for this weekend. I know temperatures are looking a little on the cold side however we will be in a warm cabin with fire and each place we go to will be warm so it’ll just be going in and out of the car, which will also be warm. I cannot cancel as I’ve already paid for the cabin. Please remember to bring your blanket , anything that you want to eat or drink at the cabin, hot cocoa or tea or anything like that. Breakfast if you want it in the morning. And remember to bring games and I really look forward to seeing everybody.

We just found this awesome event in Geneva Ohio and want to open it up to our most adventurous (and thirsty) besties! It is the Geneva Wine Trail Event! Visit 7 participating wineries, distilleries & taphouses and get a mini tasting (or specially curated cocktail) AND 7 appetizers/food offering for only $7 per stop! All 7 stops is only $49! And of course, I can't leave well enough alone - why not make it a cabin get away too! Strong cabin is close by, overlooking the Grand River - it is available for the night - sleeps 8 in bunk style accommodations - large living room, bathroom, kitchen and unlimited firewood to make the cabin stay super toasty! After our wine trail - we head back to the cabin for more food, games, snowshoeing - whatever! On Saturday morning, optional hiking of Hogback Ridge is a possibility. We split the cabin cost equally - I am thinking somewhere around $30 for the cabin expense per person. I'm always open to having more at the cabin, but then it would be just crashing in the living room on a cot or sleeping bag on the floor. Great way to say "goodbye" to Dry January!
