REGISTRATION OPEN ON PARTNER SITE

Join Wake Audubon and our partner We Plant if Forward on Saturday, MARCH 7 for a fun afternoon of habitat restoration in an Apex neighborhood. Our neighbors have removed the invasive plants growing near a stormwater pond and it's our turn to replace them with the native trees and other plants that support a healthy environment for birds and people.

We'll be digging holes, planting containerized trees and plants, and spreading mulch and seed mix. Proper planting demonstrations will be provided.

Gear: Dress in layers and wear sturdy shoes. Bring a full water bottle. Tools and gloves will be provided.

Accessibility: There is uneven ground on site and a slope leading down from the road to the areas where we'll be working. Roadside parking.

Precise address provided with registration.
