Walk and talk from Kurnell towards Cronulla. We can finish the walk at Wanda beach basketball courts carpark. It is possible to catch a bus or walk from there towards Cronulla train station at the end of the walk.
walk length: around 15 to 17 KMs
a hint: remember: that when walking long distances especially through bush, sand and some rock scramblings shoes with good grip, a back pack so your hands are free to hang on, pants or tights that give you best movement of your legs are the most important.
personal hint from me: bring tea or coffee in a thermos to give you that extra power to keep going on a long walk if you are a tea drinker. high quality salt such as Himalayan or Celtic salt, not sea salt can replace expensive electrolytes during physical exertion. You could bring a sprinkling of the salt in a tiny bag to make sure you don't get dehydrated.
walk difficulty: moderate to difficult because of the length
walking pace: 4 KMs per hour
there are lots of beautiful views and possible sittings of whales.
pls bring your own lunch
