Please join us for our next group walk on Sunday 19th October.
Our friendly group is for people of all ages who have lost their life partners, either recently or a while ago, and want to walk and talk with others in a similar situation who may understand how they are feeling. Our walks provide a safe space to share experiences, coping strategies, and companionship, while enjoying the beauty of nature.
We will meet in the car park at Hardley Staithe NR14 6BY. Please arrive ready for a 9am start as we will leave promptly, and please carshare to get there if possible.
There will be no cafe for refreshments this month , so please feel free to bring drinks/ snacks which we can share either along or after the walk.
This walk is only 3.6 miles this month, and should take about 1.5 hours, but for those wanting to stretch their legs a little further, there is the option of extending the walk by 1.5 miles at the end.
We will be walking mainly on grass paths and lanes and by water. It may well be muddy so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. The walk is unfortunately not suitable for people with mobility issues.
As always, the event is free to attend, but no dogs thank you, and please note that walkers take part at their own risk. Please also be aware that we are a peer group for mutual support, and that the event will not be led by trained grief counsellors.
Please RSVP (see below) as it helps us to manage numbers, and do message us if you have any questions at all.
