There are a number of ways to VOLKSSPORT and distances vary. Most walks are 10k (6.2 miles) but there are many 5k routes, some 20k and also 32k and 42k routes at the walking festivals.
You can participate in year round walks, group walks, club walks, event walks and walking festivals!

This multi-day event is open for registration each day from 8:00 to 2:00. Each walk will have a featured day when group walks will be available.Registration Location: Haines Place Park and Ride 440 12th St., Port Townsend, WA
All walks start from Haines Place Park & Ride in Port Townsend at the back of the parking lot - look for our shelter. 6K Ft. Casey walkers will take a free Jefferson Transit bus to the ferry dock (or club shuttle on Sunday & Monday). Restrooms available at the start and along the route. $4 fee per walkers per event. Ferry roundtrip tickets to Whidbey Island are $8.50 (Seniors 65+ - $4.20).Each walk will have a featured day and group walks available but you may walk any walk on any day.
Friday Featured Walk: Ft Flagler, Marrowstone Island.
Featured group walk Friday 23 May at 10:00. Meet at Ft. Flagler State Park at the parking area just past the parade grounds (intersection of Flagler & Wansboro roads) Ft. Flagler walkers must drive 20 miles to Marrowstone Island for the start. Restrooms available at the start and along the route. $4 fee per walkers per event. Discovery Pass required to park at the state park. Registration on site available that day.

Haines Place Park & Ride (Jefferson Transit) - 440 12th St., Port Townsend, WA 98368.Parking is north of WA-20 in Port Townsend beside the Safeway and McDonalds. Parking in the rear parking lot where the start tent will be set up. Walkers will take a free bus or club shuttle to the ferry dock (optional +4km walk) for the ride to Whidbey Island.

Come walk with us! - Marymoor Village Link Station Walk 5K/10K Rated 1AMarymoor Link Rail Station Parking Garage, Redmond, WA
Join Interlaken Trail on this Traditional Traveling Guided Walk exploring the new Marymoor Village Station and surrounding area.
The walk starts at the Marymoor Village Light Rail Station.We will be registering walkers on the second level of the garage near the stairs to the Light Rail platform. Registration for the walk is from 8:45-9:30. Stickers will be available at the start. MAPS AND DIRECTIONS WILL BE PROVIDED. THERE WILL BE NO TRAIL MARKINGS.
Group walk leaves when registration closes at 9:30 am.Trail: Walk on paved surfaces on the East Lake Sammamish, Marymoor Connector Trails. The 10Km will also enjoy time on the woodsy trails of Marymoor Park.
Restrooms at Whole Foods (.5k) and in Marymoor ParkIVV Credit is $4. Donations to support these activities are appreciated as AVA charges clubs $2 per walker,
The Emerald City Wanderers are sponsoring Light Rail Challenge II starting in 2025. We will have limited number of books available for purchase.

Starting Point: Marymoor Village StationYou may arrive light rail which opens May 10. Please note Pets are not allowed on Light Rail, but are OK on the walk route if arriving otherwise. Leash and clean-up laws apply.
Or plan to park in the 1,400+ stall parking garage next to the station.
DIRECTIONS: From WA-520 Eastbound: Use the right lane to take the WA-202/Redmond Way exit. Right on WA-202 to NE 70th St. Right on NE 70th St to parking garage on your right. Continue up the ramp to park.
