Day trip to Lincoln with Optional Seven Mile Circular Walk

Join us for a seven-mile walk starting from Lincoln Station and heading along the waterfront, past a former abbey, through the arboretum and city walls, past Lincoln Cathedral, Lincoln Castle, Ellis Windmill, West Common, the former Lincoln Racecourse and back to Lincoln along the Roman Fossdyke Canal.

We will finish the walk at Wetherspoons where we can have a drink and or a meal before heading back to Lincoln Station for the short train journey home.

The train departs from Nottingham Station at 1024 and returns from Lincoln at 1730 arriving back in Nottingham at 1836. A group return ticket will cost £10.

We will stop at Lincoln Cathedral Cafe for a refreshment and comfort break about halfway around the walk.
