Kinoulton, Hickling and Grantham Canal walk - just over 5 miles

As requested, a walk to Hickling from Kinoulton partly along the Grantham Canal. The forecast looks pretty good so it should be a nice walk - and very quiet and peaceful. We'll begin at the Neville Arms, the currently closed pub in Kinoulton. Plenty of parking on roads around but unfortunately no buses at present, although there is an on-demand service from Gamston Morrisons I believe. See Edward’s message. We'll then head to Hickling over the fields and stop at the café by the Basin. The pub across the road will no doubt be open too and I'm told there's a chocolate-lovers' paradise just back along Hickling Lane towards Kinoulton. We'll return (eventually!) along the Canal to Kinoulton. No hills but probably muddy bits in places. Well-behaved dogs welcome, including at the café (but I doubt whether they'd be welcome at the café where they make the chocolates).
