Details
This is a walk along the flat Railway Heritage Trail, that runs through typical Hills bushland: apart from Marri trees there's also Sheoak, Dryandra and a thick understorey. We'll probably see birds such as Black cockatoos, Bronzewing pigeons, Red-capped and '28' parrots, honeyeaters and wattlebirds.
After 45 minutes heading south, we turn back to the start.
Meet at the Bibbulumun Track north terminus.
Parking is free at the shopping centre car park opposite, or on any nearby street.
Optional refreshments at Kalamunda Hotel afterwards.
