Kalamunda Railway Reserve trail
Details
This is a walk along the flat Railway Heritage Trail, that runs through typical Hills bushland: apart from Marri trees there are also Sheoak, Dryandra and a thick understorey. We'll likely see birds such as Black cockatoos, Bronzewing pigeons, Red-capped and '28' parrots, honeyeaters and wattlebirds.
After 30 - 35 minutes heading south, we'll turn back to the start. If the weather is bad, we'll still go but make it a shorter walk.
Meet at the Bibbulumun Track north terminus.
Parking is free at the shopping centre car park opposite, or on any nearby street.
Optional refreshments at Kalamunda Hotel afterwards.
