Edward L. Ryerson Conservation Area Walk

Let's hike in a forest preserve for a change. The meeting point is in the parking lot at end of the road and not the main parking lot -- you will need to go straight at the stop sign: https://maps.app.goo.gl/585mCfQBkpYhebc89

Note: You will need a real hiking boot or at least a waterproof boot for this hike as some sections of the trails will be slippery and under water.

Ryerson(https://www.lcfpd.org/ryerson) is one of my favorite forest preserve around here for hiking, bird photography and fall colors.

The plan is to complete the outer loop first going left from the parking lot and walking almost all the inner trails as indicated by the arrows in the attached trail map. The total hike distance should be around 6 miles.
