Having spent 2 nights in Gubbio on our May tour in 2024 and taken a fabulous walk here last Autumn we return again. For our first 2 nights of 6 in Umbria we stay in the enchanting medieval town of Gubbio nestled in a valley below Mount Ingino. Umbria is widely known as the Green Heart of Italy!!

One of our excursions is a day trip to Florence by train, the other five 7-12km walks are in Umbria the Green Heart of Italy; Marvel at these hidden gems walking -

-Along the Way of St Francis to Gubbio
Spending an evening in Perugia and taking the funicular up to Umbria's vibrant hilltop capital is another highlight!
