Blue Hills Hike: Fun Fall Walk!

This event is a joint collaboration between the Boston and Friends Beyond Boston ~ Waltham Social and the Between The Cities: Socials for 20s and 30s (Boston-Worcester) community groups 🎉

Since RSVPs are split across both groups, you’ll see a smaller attendee limit here, but there will be additional members joining from both communities. ✨

Lets go for a fun and refreshing hike around Ponkapoag Pond in the Blue Hills (near Boston)! This area is beautiful in the fall, and we’ll get to enjoy the crisp air, colorful leaves, and maybe even a little boardwalk exploration.

This hike is mostly flat with a few long, gradual uphills. It’s not steep, but it does require some endurance for about two hours of steady walking. We’ll keep a comfortable pace and take breaks as needed. I will be there around 12:45, and plan to start the hike at 1:10pm.

Please bring waterproof shoes, water, bug spray, and layers so you’re ready for whatever the weather brings. This event is rain or shine, except if there’s a downpour. I’ll bring some extra water, snacks, and bug spray, just in case anyone needs them.

Liability: I’m hosting this event as a volunteer, and I’m not liable for your safety or enjoyment. By joining, you agree to take responsibility for yourself. I’ve mapped out our route and will guide the group with safety in mind, so we can focus on having a fun and relaxing afternoon together.
