A pretty walk through the woodland and valleys surrounding the village of Chittlehamholt enjoying beautiful far reaching countryside views. Starting in the village and taking footpaths through Shortridge Wood to reach Warkleigh. Then descending into the river Taw valley to reach Park Farm, before looping back along countryside lanes and bridleways to return to the car park.

Meet at Chittlehamholt Village Car Park at 6.30pm.

Terrain: Public footpaths, bridleways, and countryside roads. Footpaths can be muddy in periods of wet weather. Several stretches of ascent/ descent steep in places. Footpaths can be uneven and rocky in places.

Parking: Chittlehamholt Village Car Park suggested donation 50p per car (by kind permission of the village hall trustees).

Please wear weather/ ground conditions appropriate clothing/ footwear and bring snacks/drinks.
