Sunday 21st September 10am. Boscastle - Rocky Valley - Valency - Beeny Walk

A beautiful, varied, longer distance walk along the coastline and through countryside surrounding the village of Boscastle. Starting in Boscastle and following the coast path to reach Rocky Valley and then heading inland to reach St Nectan's Glen. Then crossing fields to return to the top of the village before descending to reach the river Valency valley, walking along the river to reach New Mills. Then ascending to reach Beeny before returning to Boscastle along the coast path. Option to complete first loop of walk and return to car park before the section through the valency valley. This walk will include a weather permitting stop for lunch - please bring snacks and drinks.

Meet at Boscastle Cobweb Car Park at 10am.

Route type: Circular.
Grade: Challenging.
Terrain: Public footpaths, bridleways, coast path and countryside roads. Footpaths be wet and muddy in damp weather especially along river valley sections. Many sections of steep ascent/ descent. Footpaths can be very rocky in places. Several stiles.
Toilets: Boscastle next to car park. (20p charge)
Parking: Boscastle Cobweb Car Park PL35 0HE. £6.30 for 24 hours.

Please wear weather/ ground conditions appropriate clothing/ footwear and bring snacks/drinks/ packed lunch.
