Saturday 15th November 2025. Flashdown Woods – Hayne Valley Eggesford Forest Autumn Walk

A gentle woodland walk through Flashdown Woods and the countryside surrounding Eggesford, passing the Forestry Commission’s centenary stone and commemorative tree avenue. Starting at Flashdown Woods and walking around the plantation and then descending into Hayne Valley. Then taking a foot path to climb Eggesford Fourways and then on to Eggesford Barton, before returning to the car park via a footpath through Flashdown Woods. Option to stay for coffee / drinks after the walk at Tarka Line Bistro, a 5 minute drive from Flashdown Woods car park.

Meet at Flashdown Woods Car Park at 10am.

Parking: Flashdown Woods Car Park (free). Limited parking spaces available please car share where possible.
