Sign…there are so many distractions around us nowadays so WASABI has decided to create a place where people can focus !

That’s WASABI’s self-study events !

Grab your own study materials and have a get-together. Share your learning with others and get intellectually spiced up, while making new friends !

10:00am-10:40am：Self-study in silence
10:40am-11:00am：Share your learning / chatting
11:00am-11:40am：Self-study in silence
11:40am-12:00pm：Share your learning / chatting

【Location】
Flamingo Cafe 999 Granville St, Vancouver, BC V6Z 1L3

【Time】
October, 17th , from 10:00AM to 10:00 PM

*your arrival does not have to be on time, late comers are welcome !

【Participation Fee】
FREE

【IMPORTANT】
1. Please order at least 1 item in the cafe

2. During the self-study time (Quiet Time), please do not disturb others.

【Q&A】
1. Is using computers / tablets alright ?
→Yes.

2. Is reading books alright ?
→Yes. You can then choose to share your book in the chatting time.

3. Is working alright ?
→Yes. You can work on your own project.

4. Do I have to share my learning ?
It is recommended but it is not compulsory if you feel uncomfortable. It is said output right after input helps your learning, so it is an opportunity to do this though…!

WASABIの朝活自習イベントにようこそ！

・家で集中できない...

・カフェに行っても、周りの人の目がないと怠けてしまう...

スマホがあったり、昔と比べて集中しずらい時代になったなぁと感じています。そんなわけで、朝の自習イベントを始めてみることにしました！

勉強道具を持参して勉強しましょう。みんなで黙々と勉強する時間の後、学んだ内容をシェアする時間を取ってみました。いい刺激になるかもしれませんよ！

1.パソコンやタブレットを使用しても大丈夫ですか？
→大丈夫です！

2. 読書でも良いでしょうか？
→もちろんです！お話タイムの時、読んだ本をシェアしてみても良いと思います！

3.仕事をしてもよいですか？
→パソコンやタブレットで集中してお仕事をしたい人も歓迎です！

4.学びは必ずシェアしなければなりませんか？
おすすめですが、シェアしなくても大丈夫です。決して強制ではないのでご安心くださいね。学んだ内容をその場でアウトプットすると定着すると言われているので、アウトプットの機会ではあります。
