Waterfall Wednesday Farmington Canyon

Come participate in a run through Farmington Canyon Waterfall. The trail is a shorter one. Some creek walking to a gorgeous waterfall rappel. We will meet at the parking lot at the bottom of the canyon and take a short 2 mile truck ride to the waterfall. There will be some creek walking and ascending if you wish to cut some distance off the exit.
Priority will be given to those who have not attended Waterfall Wednesday in the past. This is an intermediate level canyon because it’s a Class-CI Rated Canyon. We will be rappelling on a very slippery surface.

Required Equipment: wetsuit, rain jacket, harness, helmet, rappel device, personal anchor, self rescue equipment and carabiners. Optional Equipment: webbing, quick links, pocket knife, figure 8 or other blocking device, rope, VT prusiks or ascending device.
Dress appropriately for cooler weather (fall weather attire, closed toe shoes that can get wet and whatever else you may need to stay comfortable for the day).
• No +1 RSVPs. If you know someone who would like to attend, please have them join the meetup group and sign up using their own account.
• If there is inclement weather we will try other options.
• Restrooms will not be available.
