Architecture & Art Nude - Photography Workshop

In this workshop we will explore how architects "see" and design buildings, and how that process can be applied by a photographer to "see" and create art nude photography. The elements of composition, structure, space, and materials are common to both artistic endeavours.

With experienced art nude model Anastasia, and our location at Cattail Studio on the Chesapeake Bay, we will apply these principles to photography to create art nude images that result from the influence of architectural design on the art nude.

The work of Croatian photographer Stanko Abadžić is an example of this relationship between architecture and the art nude.

Cattail Landing offers indoor and outdoor spaces for shooting creative images, as well as a studio with that can be used to make creative lighting designs. The outdoor areas include the background of the Chesapeake Bay, a hot tub, deck, landing and wooded area, all on over an acre of land on the Chesapeake Bay.

Workshop Fee: $200 (Includes Commercial Model Release)

1 on 1 Sessions: Anastasia will also be available for 1 on 1's after the workshop.

Cancellation/No Show Policy: Payment of the $80 is to hold your space. However, if you cancel within 7 days of the workshop, or are a no show, you will be billed for the balance of the workshop fee. We must establish policy because of our financial obligations to our models and studio expenses.
