# Join Our Epic 2-Day Moran State Park Camping & Hiking Adventure! 🏞️🌲

When: Friday, May 30- Sunday, June 1, 2025
Where: Moran State Park, Orcas Island
Who: Intermediate hikers from Seattle ready for an island escape!
Cost: $50 Venmo to Yoni-Kaszynski with your name and phone number. Payment confirms your spot and removes you from the waitlist. Once paid, I will add you to the Whatsapp where we will coordinate logistics and the ferry.

Note: Only 4 cars can park at the campsite, first come first serve, the first two cars are free, and the second two will pay a small fee. The rest will have to park down the road at the overflow lot for a small fee.

Escape the city for an unforgettable group camping trip to Moran State Park, a stunning gem in the San Juan Islands! Perfect for intermediate hikers, this 2-day adventure features lush forests, sparkling lakes, and breathtaking views. Leave Seattle Friday afternoon, return Sunday by 4:30 PM.

## Itinerary Highlights

Friday: Arrive at Moran State Park’s South End Campground, set up camp, and enjoy Cascade Lake views. Take a short evening hike on the Cascade Lake Loop (1.5 miles) to catch the sunset and spot local wildlife.

Saturday: Conquer the Mount Constitution Loop (6.7 miles, 1,490 ft gain) for panoramic views of the San Juans, Mount Baker, and Vancouver Island from the summit tower.

Afternoon: Explore the Twin Lakes Trail (2.2 miles, 300 ft gain) or swim in Cascade Lake. End with a cozy campfire and stargazing!

Sunday: Hike the easy Rosario Head Trail (2 miles) for serene views of Orcas Island’s coastline. Visit the Moran State Park Visitor Center for local history, grab coffee at a nearby café, and head back to Seattle after breaking camp.
