Join me for a spectacular fall hike on the Skyline Trail, renowned for its vibrant autumn colors and breathtaking views! This popular route from Paradise on the southern side of Mount Rainier showcases lush vegetation, stunning glacier vistas, and beautiful rivers and waterfalls—all framed by the rich hues of fall.
The trek to Panorama Point is a must-see, attracting visitors from afar to witness the incredible displays of color. On clear days, enjoy panoramic views of Mount Rainier, majestic Tatoosh Peaks, along with Mount Adams, Mount Saint Helens, and Mount Hood.

- Distance: 5.5 miles (Skyline Loop)
- Level: Moderate to High
- Elevation: 1,771 ft elevation gain
- Trailhead: Starts with stone steps near the Visitor Center, leading to a series of scenic junctions.

### What to Bring

- Boot Care: Don’t forget a plastic bag for your boots after the hike!
### Carpooling
To reduce congestion on the road and minimize our environmental impact, we will be carpooling from the starting point. If you're a rider, please contribute $35 for gas and park entrance fees. Make sure to pay your driver when you get in!
While the hosts will do everything possible to accommodate everyone for the hike, in extremely rare situations where there aren’t enough drivers for all riders, the host may need to ask late arrivals to leave. Please arrive early to secure your spot.

- After the hike, we’ll return to the starting point (park and ride). Feel free to make dinner plans with your carpool mates afterward!
