About us

Weekend code workshops for DIYer hobby C++ coders. Our philosophy is real life with a side of code. Our mantra is mellow. We invite you to pour yourself a cup of coffee and make your keyboard sing.

We welcome computer programmers of all experience levels.

Launchpad for "README after your first computer programming book Server" Server on Discord. It is this group's intention to instill its members with best C++ coding practices (or sometimes even just DIY solutions) on a weekly basis. Each Sunday two fully functional C++ programs will be posted with the intention of satisfying two tiers of lifelong learners.

The first tier is "freshman", and programs posted to freshman tier will be procured for the sake of simplicity to cover material that should have been introduced within the contents of the learner's first programming book.

The second tier is "junior", and programs posted to junior tier will do their utmost diligence to provide a comprehensive, robust solution to a common programming situation tailored for a programmer of an intermediate level of experience ie someone who has completed their first computer programming book in its entirety.

Both weekend programs will be meticulously commented to remove all foreseeable confusion.

No one will ever be quizzed on these exercises; they are provided solely for each member's self efficacy.

The programs shall be coded and tested by Matthew F (Organizer) who offers this code to be used for educational non-commercial purposes within a safe virtualized testing environment (not as an administrator, root, etc).
