The Orgasm Education You Never Got (Women Only, Online)
Details
ONLINE TICKETED EVENT - WOMEN ONLY
For years I thought something was wrong with me.
I enjoyed sex. I'd experimented, I'd been with plenty of different partners. But no matter what I tried, I couldn't get there. So I did what a lot of us do. I stopped expecting it, and I got on with my life.
Turns out there was nothing wrong with me at all. I'd just never been taught how any of this actually works.
Here's the thing nobody says out loud. Only around 30% of women reliably orgasm from penetrative sex alone, and most of us need clitoral stimulation to get there. That's not a small footnote. That's the majority of us, quietly wondering why the thing we've been told is normal isn't happening.
We're not the problem. We're just working with information nobody ever gave us.
So that's what this session is. An hour of the real, unvarnished lowdown on female orgasm. Why it's genuinely harder for us than we've been led to believe. Why so many women fake it, and why so many give up altogether. What's actually going on in your body, in plain English. Then 30 minutes to ask me anything you like.
No judgement, no shame, and no pretending you already know things. Just a room full of women getting the education we should have had decades ago, and having a good laugh while we do it.
What we'll cover
The orgasm gap, and why it exists (spoiler: it's not you)
What your anatomy is actually doing, and the parts nobody bothered to mention
The role of desire, arousal and context, and why the order matters more than you think
What the research says about closing the gap, and what you can do about it.
Who it's for
Women anywhere in New Zealand and beyond. Whether you've never orgasmed, orgasm sometimes but not reliably, orgasm alone but not with a partner, or you've simply given up wondering. You don't need a problem to be here. Curiosity is enough.

I'm Rachel Strevens, a sexologist, sex coach and educator, and the founder of The Passion Project. I've also written a memoir about the year I finally worked all this out, and I'll read a little of it on the night.
With love (and a cheeky wink), Rachel X
