Details
Microsoft’s David Burela, a Senior Technical Evangelist at Microsoft Australia (with a focus on Cloud computing & Blockchain) will be hosting a free workshop on preparing your Windows/Linux environments with all the essential tools for decentralized application development on the Ethereum blockchain. This session will serve as a perfect opportunity to gain some technical preparation ahead of the #RegHackDownUnder (https://reghack.org) hackathon to be held at RMIT over the 12-14th May weekend.
David will be covering the npm JavaScript package manager, ConsenSys’ Truffle development framework (for compiling, unit testing and deploying your blockchain applications), Test RPC (for local blockchain testing), followed by a demonstration on how to deploy your applications to the test network using Microsoft Azure’s Blockchain as a Service as well as touching on various use-cases.
Also during this session, ConsenSys director and #RegHackDownUnder organizer Chami Akmeemana will be hosting a brief Q&A session to address questions and concerns regarding the upcoming hackathon event.
