Chilham Castle followed by walk to Canterbury

An amazing walk in the Kent countryside and then by the Great River Ouze !

Please arrive by 9.30am to facilitate the purchase of group train tickets for the train at 10.07am that arrives at Chilham at 11.02am after changing at Ashford International.

Train ticket : return to Canterbury West.

Or you may decide to drive.

The walk shall commence by 11.05am.

We shall first visit the delightful grounds of Chilham Castle followed by walking in the hills of the North Downs and then by the river into Canterbury - 7 miles in total

We shall take the 5.23pm direct train back that arrives in London at 6.18pm.

Meetup fee £5 payable in cash or by bank transfer in advance.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes/boots or trainers.

We shall have a drink in Canterbury at the end of the walk.
