Winchelsea to Rye Coastal and River Walk

An amazing day on the south coast walking 9 miles by Winchelsea beach and Camber Castle culminating in a lovely walk by the River Bede with a visit to historical town of Rye and the amazing Mermaid Street !

This walk shall be led by Alex as Steven is in Croatia.

Please arrive by 9.40am to facilitate the purchase of group train tickets for the train at 10.07am that arrives at Winchelsea at 11.52am changing at Ashford International.

Train ticket : return to Winchelsea

Or you may decide to drive.

The walk shall commence by noon.

We shall take the 5.48pm train back that arrives in London at 6.54pm after changing at Ashford International.

Meetup fee £5 payable in cash or by bank transfer in advance.

Please bring packed lunch, water, snacks etc plus waterproof jacket and walking shoes/boots or trainers.
