Holiday Open House

The Welkinweir arboretum and nature preserve will be open on Saturday, December 13, from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. Talk a walk through the gardens – be sure to check out the Holly Grove, our collection of American hollies, full of berries in red and yellow! Also blooming are the Christmas rose (hellebores). Felling chilly? Pop into the historic estate house in all its holiday splendor and tap your toes with the sounds from the 1928 Skinner pipe organ! Donations gratefully accepted.
