What we’re about
Gold Coast Women in Business is hosted by The Founder Wellbeing Project. A community that is focussed on supporting and normalising the conversation around mental health & wellbeing for women in business.
Building a business can feel isolating and overwhelming at times. Many people are only aware of business output, rarely do they see or understand the full picture of what goes on behind the scenes. Yes, we love what we do and we love the perks that come with having our own business, but in reality, there is often a lot of hard work, stress, and uncertainty.
We are tired of only seeing the business highlights reel on social media. Let’s put a spotlight on the real challenges, stress, tears, doubt and hard work that goes on behind the scenes and support each other through these challenges.
We will be hosting events to allow women a chance to get together and take some time to focus on their wellbeing.

You give so much to your business. It can be relentless.
Deadlines. Decisions. Endless to-do lists. Overwhelm. But when was the last time you did something just for yourself? If you're juggling a million tabs, in your mind and on your laptop, this retreat is for you.
Join us for an intentional half-day retreat designed just for women in business. A gentle afternoon to slow down, switch off, and prioritise your wellbeing without guilt.
It’s an afternoon designed to give you some much-needed headspace, tools to reconnect with yourself and your business, and a chance to be around other women who get it.
Whether you’re navigating burnout, feeling disconnected from your “why”, or just need a moment to breathe, this is your invitation to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself and other like-minded women in business.
## What’s Included
This 4.5 hour experience combines movement, creativity, journaling and connection, ending with a relaxing soak and reset in the beautiful Soak Bathhouse.
### 1:00pm – Arrival + Settle In (15 mins)
Get comfortable, and ease into the afternoon at your own pace. No rush, no pressure, just a gentle start to get out of work mode and into the right headspace.
### 1:15pm – Yoga to Slow Down (45 mins)
A gentle yoga session to help you reset after a busy week. Designed specifically for those of us who spend too much time at our desks. Think: tight shoulders, stiff hips, sore back. This session will help you move, stretch, and feel more human again. No experience needed. No expectations.
This yoga class will be run by the lovely Holly from Our Kind Collective.### 2:00pm – Creative Journalling: You + Your Business (45 mins)
We will start with a low-pressure drawing activity, exploring simple creative prompts to gently reflect and express where you're at beyond words.
Then we’ll transition into written journalling with questions to help you think clearly and explore how your business and your wellbeing are linked, what’s working, what’s heavy, and what needs more space.### 2.45pm – Vulnerabili-tea Support Session (45 mins)
We’ll have a light snack and there will be an opportunity to share a business challenge you’re facing and get reflections, support or ideas from the group (only if you feel comfortable sharing).
### 3:30pm – Walk to Soak Bathhouse (90 mins)
We have partnered with Soak Bathhouse as part of their wellness with purpose initiative to bring you a nourishing 90-minute soak in their warm mineral pools, sauna, steam room and cold plunge. A beautiful way to unwind, reflect, and end the afternoon feeling refreshed.
