Hiking with friends - Mysterious Korokoro exploratory loop

Hey folks!

The weather doesn't look too bad in this Sun according to the Metservice.

We will do the mysterious Korokoro exploratory loop near Lower Hutt - Percy's reserve to Sugarloaf Rock lookout, and then head down to car park via Akatea Rd, Te Whiti Grove. Expect a decent 1.5-2 hour walk, roughly 5 km, but near 300 meters elevation.

Don’t forget to have sturdy shoes as it may be a bit slippery in places and rain jacket please!!

***HIKE DIFFICULTY***
-- Roughly 5~7km, 300~400 meters elevation, 2 ~ 2.5 hours hiking.
-- The tracks are mostly well formed, some sections very be very steep, rough or muddy. Clearly signposted.
-- Attitude that likes loose-plan
-- Attendance to this event is purely at your own risk. The track is listed as being easy/Intermediate.

***WHAT TO BRING***
Non-slip boots!
Water/Wind resistant jacket!!
Sunhat, sunscreen, sunglasses
Water!!
Snacks or Lunch!

***Location and RIDES***
- Can do pickups from Jonsionvile Train Station at 9:30am if requested, else organise selves
- We will have after-hiking coffee and lunch refreshment in Viva México, Petone, and all are welcome to join

***PSVP***
Usually maximum 12 hikers. Please join the waiting list if it's full. Someone may drop off in last day.

No show policy: If you are listed as 'Going' and do not turn up, a 'No Show' will be recorded against your name. Three 'No Shows' and you will not welcome to join any hiking events in future.
