Tree Planting

It looks like we have one more week of sunny skies to get trees installed at Stearns Native Nursery! The trees being planted today will be used in future restoration sites throughout NE Ohio, once they have had time to mature a bit. This is physical work, as we will be pushing a lot of dirt into pre-dug trenches. If this sounds like an opportunity you can’t pass up, stop out from 10am - 12pm. You will find us working towards the back of the property--turn left when you come through the gate and look for the large fenced in area behind the pond. We will provide tools, snacks, water, and encourage you to work at your own pace! Dress appropriately for heavy garden work.
