About a 10 mile walk from Hemel rail station to "The Horns" at Watford to watch a band.
IF PLANING TO ATTEND PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING SOME OF IT IS IMPORTANT.
This is a 'linear walk' it does not end at the stating point. It is your responsibility to make your own way back.
Meet in front of the 🚂 station.
Mostly flat walk down the canal with possible extension through Whippendell woods (we’ll decide later).

After the walk (about 16:00) I can take those who want to Watford Junction station. A single back to Hemel is around £7 (takes 10 minutes) .
After the gig (whenever) I will be returning by rail. Those who wish, are welcome to join me.

The admission charge for the band is £3 . Payable CASH ONLY on the door.
There will be a late lunch stop about half way. Please bring drinks and a snack.
Note: It's no fun being soaking wet in a pub. In the event of seriously bad weather I may cancel. PLEASE RE-CHECK WEBSITE IN THE MORNING BEFORE SETTING OFF.
