JAWS 50th Anniversary Screening @ Berkhamsted Bowls Club 🎣

This year Jaws celebrates it’s 50th Anniversary. To celebrate this event Berkhamsted Bowls Club are putting on a screening of this blockbuster film at their club they would love to have you join them.

To help make it a special evening they will be doing their best to make it feel like a true cinematic experience:

• On arrival all attendees will be offered a glass of Pims or soft drink 🍹
• Snacks will also be available for those who are feeling peckish 🍟
• They will also have a JAWS bowls target out on the green for you who like a challenge (all welcome to have a go!)
• There will be a film intermission where ice cream cornettos (just one) will be served 🍦
• Finally, to help create a true celebratory feel, the clubhouse cinema will have authentic JAWS memorabilia on show and your host will share his thoughts and love for this film. (He’s mad on the film 😄)

To cover their expenses for all the drinks, snacks and ice creams, and to help make a bit of money for the club, the cost of a virtual ticket is:
Bowls Club Members - £5
Non Club Members (our group/guests) - £7

There is no Meet Up fee for this event, as all money will go towards the club funds

Note: This offer is open to bowls members, their friends and our group first until Thurs 26th and then will be open to the public. Card payment is required at the club on the evening please.

So, if you have never seen the film, here is your chance to experience the 1975 blockbuster and find out why it dominated our thoughts that summer, or, if you have seen it several times why not enjoy it one more time in this unique setting.

And, in case you’re wondering, it's NOT a horror movie, it's far too good for that lazy billing!

The bar Is incredible value. For example, Becks Blue 0% lager £1.60, Coca Cola £1, Zero % Gordon’s G&T’s £2.75, bottle of 500ml London Pride £4 etc.
